The Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the tallest building in the world, standing at a height of 828 meters (2,717 feet). Completed in 2010, this architectural marvel was developed by Emaar Properties and designed by the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with Adrian Smith as the chief architect. The tower features 163 floors above ground and includes residential apartments, corporate suites, a luxury hotel, observation decks, and restaurants. The design of Burj Khalifa is inspired by the Hymenocallis flower, with a triple-lobed footprint and a tapering structure that spirals upward. Its sleek, glass-clad exterior reflects sunlight during the day and lights up spectacularly at night.
